I started in IT in 2006 after eight years in the United States Navy. A few years ago, a mentor of mine introduced me to networking and I haven't looked back since. I hold certifications from Cisco, CompTIA, and Websense. Currently I work as a Technical Support Specialist at Websense in San Diego where I serve as an escalation point for Tier 3 customer support issues. My main strengths in the department are Web Security, Cisco Routing & Switching, Wireshark packet analysis, and Web Cache Communication Protocol (WCCP).
I am currently working on my CCNP and aspire to specialize in Cisco networking, although I haven't chosen a discipline yet.
